KGM were commissioned to carry out the roofing and cladding works required on the new Paintshop and Logistics buildings for Bombardier at their Ilford site.

Working on an active Crossrail site requires stringent procedures and policies to be adhered to, these include site teams wearing specific identifiable PPE and all deliveries have to be made on Crossrail/FORS approved vehicles.

Due to the close proximity of the rail tracks either side of the construction works extra care had to be taken to ensure safe working at all times.

Our KGM Team, for the Logistics Building, installed Kingspan KS1000RW composite roof cladding and Kingspan KS1000DLTR rooflights and Kingspan KS1100AB composite wall cladding system.

For the Paintshop Building we used Kingspan KS1000Topdek composite flat roof cladding panel and Kingspan KS1100AB composite wall cladding system.

For Shop A we installed Kingspan KS1000RW composite roof cladding and Kingspan KS1000DLTR rooflights with Kingspan KS1000RW composite wall cladding.
