About KGM Roofing

KGM Roofing became part of Lindum Group in 1977 when George Whitaker, who founded the company in 1970 with his brothers Keith and Michael, sold it to John F. Chambers, the then Chairman of Lindum Group.

Being part of a much larger construction group has enabled KGM Roofing to grow with the backing of the Groups support services and financial resources.

Key to success is our people – we employ all our own staff, office and site based. This is critical in ensuring the quality of our work and, as all our employees are shareholders, each has a vested interest in doing a good job for ‘their’ clients.

Training is a priority for both skills development and Health & Safety practises for all our employees. We are very proud of our excellent reputation for quality, service and safety and work hard to maintain this.

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors continues to recognise KGM Roofing through Gold awards for site safety and most recently one of our projects received an international safety award. We have been named in ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For’ list since 2005, with the Group retaining our position as the top construction company in 2016.
