Construction of a purpose built facility for Avecia Biotechnology.

KGM were appointed by Harry Peers (specialist structural steel work contractor for the pharmaceutical industry) to carry out roofing and cladding works on this high specification project to create an advanced centre for biologics manufacture.

Our specialist team provide solutions for facilities with specialised needs, such as extra fire-safety, hygiene, sensitive acoustics, and attractive architecture. Sandwich panel solutions include everything needed to complete a structure: panels, fixings, flashings, profiles, sealants, lifting equipment as well as first-class technical support. Together with optimal detailing these contemporary sandwich panel solutions meet the technical, aesthetic and budgetary demands of all parties involved in a building project.

We installed Paroc insulated structural composite wall panel system (Paroc panels are high-class steel-faced sandwich panels with a core of stone wool and their main application areas are facades, partitions and ceilings) and for the roof we used Sarnafil fully adhered PVC membrane insulated flat roofing system.
