Project Description

This project involved the conversion of industrial space into a high specification office facility by Lindum at their Business Park in North Hykeham, Lincoln.

KGM were appointed to carry out the extensive cladding and associated works as part of the major refurbishment project to part of the main building on the site, this included the stripping out and disposal of the existing cladding followed by the installation of various different width panels.

With only one entrance and exit to the building situated on a multi-use Business Park operating 24/7 the logistics of the working and delivery times had to be carefully planned.

Part of the design specification was to incorporate as much natural light as possible so several glass panels were installed as part of the exterior package. The glass used for the windows had to be carefully selected to ensure that the interior was not visible from the outside, a criteria stipulated the end user.
