Project Description

As part of the contract to fit out the production unit of the newly named Feilden House, home to Siemens' world class gas turbine overhaul facility at Teal Park, Lindum appointed KGM to carry out a range of internal partitioning projects.

The work included creating three buildings within the main warehouse with individual designated zones for specialist tasks within the overhaul workshop and the addition of a first floor viewing gallery for visitors. This was designed to meet Siemens' requirement for a facility based on high efficiency ‘lean’ processes and installation works had to be carried out in a ‘live’ environment as production had to be maintained.

Kingspan modular box was installed which is a Factory pre-engineered flat-pack systems that provide the optimum level of thermal efficiency and ease of assembly for any walk-in coldroom application.

Roof system used was Kingspan KS1100RL roof liner composite panel with wall cladding system Kingspan KS1000FL flat architectural wall c.
